Do I need a logon?
No. City Insights is free to use with no logon or sign-in required.
Can I drill down to see data for a specific precinct or area within my suburb?
No. The data that makes up City Insights is provided at Suburb level for various privacy reasons. Access to data may need to be restricted for reasons of privacy, public safety, security and law enforcement, public health or pre-existing contractual arrangements.
Can I export the data?
In order to comply with data privacy requirements, we are unable to offer the option to export information from City Insights.

How often is the data updated?

Expenditure Data is updated monthly once data is received from Spendmapp.

Business Industry Mix is updated via ABR data annually.

Development Applications are updated daily once received by {{ brandName }}.

Demographic data is updated in line with Census reporting every five years.

Data sources in City Insights are sourced from a variety of external systems, which are updated at various times and frequencies. As such data in City Insights may not always be up to date or complete. {{ councilCode }} recommends that users exercise their own skill and care with respect to the use of City Insights and that users carefully evaluate the accuracy, currency, completeness and relevance of the material relevant to their purpose.
