How To Guide

To help you get started using City Insights we have created a quick overview tour that takes you through the key features and functionalities of the platform. To initiate the tour, click the button from any page.

Changing orientation and pitch

To change the orientation of your map view, right click and drag left or right to spin the map clockwise or counter-clockwise.

To change the angle/pitch of your map view, you can either right click and drag up or down, or you can also left click and hold the ctrl key while you drag the map view up or down.

To return to the original zoom and orientation of the map, click the reset zoom button.

Moving around the map

If using a mouse or trackpad, left click and drag the map to pan around, while touchscreen users can simply drag the map to move around it.

To zoom in or out of the map, left click and scroll up or down on your mouse scroll wheel. Touchscreen and trackpad users can pinch and zoom in and out of the map.
